Sinopsis

En el Universal Century 0079, las fuerzas de la Federación Terrestre y el Principado de Zeon se enfrentan en una batalla dentro del Sector Thunderbolt durante la Guerra de Un Año. Esta sección del espacio, conocida por sus constantes descargas eléctricas, resulta ser un campo de batalla mortal, mientras el piloto de la Federación Io Fleming lidera un asalto contra el as de Zeon, Daryl Lorenz, y su escuadrón de francotiradores.
