The leader of Destron (aka Decepticon) forces - a cruel and intelligent strategist who dreams of galaxy-wide dominance with what he describes as "peace through tyranny". His signature alternate mode is a customized handgun, often wielded by his subordinates, most commonly Starscream. However, in later installments, he adapts a number of other alternate modes, with his second most iconic form being a tank.
His signature weapon is the **Fusion Cannon** (融合カノン砲), which he usually wields on his right arm.
~!In many incarnations, following his demise at the hands of his lifelong rival Convoy, he is rebuilt by Unicron into his loyal servant, Galvatron, who's treated as a separate character in most continuities.!~
